On my 235 exhaust manifold the pin that the heat riser spring hooks to is completely rusted away. Can someone kindly give me a diameter and exposed length of this pin so I can make another?

It is not inexpensive, but it is set-up for the spring, the counterweight, and, I think, for attaching the flapper inside the exhaust manifold. If you get it, please let us know how well it works. Joe. If that's the one then it's a 3/16" diameter pin with
about 5/8" sticking out of the casting. How much is in the
casting is anyone's guess. I would think 1/8" to 1/4" more
would put it somewhere in the ball park.
