There is a big wire and a smaller wire . The terminals are marked F and A ; field and armature I think. I look at my Delco Remy regulator and see 3 wires going to the leeds - 2 big wires and 1 small wire. How can I figure this out ? I don't see any markings on the regulator. Any guesses ? Thanks Jeff

Some have a ground wire in there also. The pass. side of the regulator is red wire, hot all the time. The center is the arm. & the driver side is the field. After you get it hooked up take a little piece of wire & touch it momentarily from the hot lead to the arm. term. This polarizes the gen. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing. 1972 Chevy c10 Cheyenne SuperIn the Gallery Forum
