How crazy?

I have three deuces on a 1959 pontiac 389 in a 1959 gmc 1/2 ton longbed. The engine was bored and stroked to make 447 inches, and was a direct bolt in for the original gmc 336 v8. This truck is my daily driver. Crazier than the engine, i have a propane bbq grill hidden in the passenger side rear fender, and a bar(alcohol) hidden in the driver side fender.

I also have five deuces on a 302 gmc inline 6. I'm not very good with math.

That's awesome! My favorites! BBQ, muscle cars and alcohol. Don't drink and drive though.

How about HevyHaulers '56 6400? 496 big block, Powermatic trans, and it still gets used as working truck!

383 sbc with 871 bds blower. Dual 780 holleys. 741 hp. Never took it to the track because I have no seat belts but I've pulled on motorcycles from 60 to 140mph. I really gotta figure out this photo thing. I pass a lot of things sideways. Tirerack.com loves me also. Every 6 weeks or so it's another $400.00. My dad says he regrets helping me build a death trap.

Not bullet holes. Rocks. But most folks think they are bullet holes, so if it makes them happy........ That glass is long gone.

That dragster was the last front engined top fuel world champion. 1971. 6.41 et, fastest it's been was 232 mph. Beat Garlits at Amarillo for the win. You can usually see it at your local cackle car show although I don't think we're going to Escondido this year and haven't been invited to Del Mar yet.

I drive that thing really fast on the highway. It's my weekend cruiser or if I get off work before 8pm I drive it to the gym and groceries stores. It sits low but the blower is really tall with the carbs and that's the thinnest air cleaner I want to run. It's a 2.5" barely fits with a 4" cowl.

Body work and paint. It was a gloss black when I was 21-27 then I had it pearl white with a blueish green pearl. Now it's a multi primered jalopy. I'm thinking gloss black again. I have to fix the pass door though. My mother hit it pulling into my d-way. I guess she didn't see the 18' truck in the way... Oh I might even put some seat belts in it.

Does a tractor count? Five fuel burning 575 Arias with 14-71 blowers. 11,500HP and 14,000#/ft torque. It's a little noisy.

Don't need hot rods anymore. Too many police and too low of speed limits. And gas costs way too much. Need lots of gas mileage now instead

Kicking self for selling off my Taskforce trucks.
Still looking for an LCF or conventional big bolt in decent shape.

I have a diesel for mileage and reliability. I have a blown pickup because I have more money than brains. It get about 16 mpg if I can keep my foot out of the throttle. But where's the fun in that?

1952 Chevy truck, 283, 600 Holly, Offenhauser dial a flow, aluminum high rise intake, power pack heads, rams horns manifolds, 1952 Cadillac Batwing style breather assy, turbo 350, duals w/Cherry Bombs to give it that certain sound. That's about all I know about it, not sure about type cam or pistons as it was purchased this way.

My '46 GMC has a 455 Buick. The way it's built it should be close to 350 HP and 500 Ft-lbs of torque. That's crazy enough for me for a street driven truck, since I also want decent mileage so I can drive it more!

I essentially have the bottom end of a Winston cup car with 7:1 compression. Red line is 7600 rpm but I have a pill in my msd 6al for 7000 rpm. Saved me many times.. Forged everything. Iron heads from dart. It's an old motor. I go through it every 3 years or so. Dual 3" exhaust with "H" pipe and single chamber flow masters that dump before the rear end. It thumps pretty well at idle. When ya give it some throttle it whines like an airplane.

I got a 46 1/2 ton with a 56 235 6 cylinder bored .60 over with a worked head and a full race cam, clifford 4 bbl intake, and holley 750 dual feed with a custom made header, that pushes around 400 horsepower backed up with a t-5 tranny and a ford 9in. rear, that gives those old chevelles and camaros a run for they're money
