For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 56 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 56 | I posted this to the Electrical Forum, but thought I would also try here. The terminals on my DC generator are not marked. I've been told two ways to look at it. One is looking from the front (pulley) and one is looking from the back(behind gen). In each case I'm told that the FIELD terminal is on the right, which means these two ways of looking at the terminals are the opposite of each other. I couldn't find anything on the Internet that shows me which terminal is which(ARM & FLD) in relation to the pulley. If anyone has a 1948 thru 1954 Chevy with a Delco 6 volt generator, please tell me which terminal is which. | | |
