Check the sticky disc brake thread, you may accomplish the same goal with less work by just swapping axle components and rear axle to the old frame.
But an 80 might be a little big for nominal 1.25 ton pickup axles?

Anything is possible, the question is why are you doing the swap? Do you want better gearing, modern engine/trans, "Better" brakes, Lower stance, Different wheel size/type.

Swapping frames(or body on frame) will be a lot of work to remake mounts and get everything setting right. Depending upon what your end goals are you may be able to get to them easier another way than swapping frames. If you go that route measure diagram, measure again, plan everything from fuel tanks to wiring to computer placement, cab mount placement, final frame height, how the wheels will fit the fenders, etc, etc, etc...BEFORE you take anything apart on EITHER truck. There are way too many people who start taking apart and cutting and then realize it is too much work/money/time to finish and basically have two destroyed trucks that are now parts vehicles. A lot of time and money wasted in the process.

The worst example I've seen is a guy got an original 1940's KB8 tractor, fifth wheel and all, had been parked for years. He got it running and drove it home. Pulled the engine and was going to replace with diesel of some sort....got in over his head gave up on getting it to fit and ended up scraping the truck. Makes me sick to think about when the KB8 I have needs so much work.
