I'm beginning to think my Climatic Air ac by Royal (or Royal by Climatic Air?) is an unknown! The previous owner said it was in it when he bought it 20 years ago, and said it was in the Burb as long as he can remember from the previous owner, who bought it new. I was at the Chevy "Truck Shop" in Orange, CA this past week, and no one at the counter had any knowledge of it? I've had 55 views, but no replys! Help Stovebolters! I'd sure be interested in anyone who has some info! Many thanks in advance.

They were built in Dallas Texas and were used on many cars as a dealer installed item. you can still find them on ebay for sale occasionally.

Thanks Gmoniz! I was beginning to think it might not have been made here in the USA! I'll do some more searching and see if I can find more on the company. I had been told earlier that it had been a TX company, but the only Climatic Air I could find is a 20 year old family owned home ac business? The unit still blows fine. I'm hoping with a good freon charge, I'll be staying cool this summer. I'll keep my eye on eBay in case parts are needed. Thanks greatly.

There should be a tag on it that has the company name and the serial number. They may be more regional, found around Texas and it's surrounding states.

Thanks for the input. Am going back up to the cabin on Friday, so probably take a mirror and flashlight and see if I can see some info on the back in case I need parts. Hopefully just a charge of freon! Was 108 degrees in the valley today,so hoping The AC still has some life in it or my wife will never step inside!
