I just picked up the holy grail of sewing.... a Singer 111W155... so I am anxious to start in and do some seat covers and other projects... of course I have absolutely no idea how to.

Are their any sites that go into this?

A buddy of mine picked up a similar machine about a year ago. He found a pile of upholstery scraps and practiced and practced for several months . About three months ago he proudly showed a bunch of us his nearly finished product. To say the "he done good" would be unappreciative. It was amazing! I've seen pro jobs that weren't nearly as good. Soooo, go for it! It can be done! Good luck!

take your time. when you take a cover off mark it in several places on both pieces then cut it apart . trace the old pieces onto the new cloth with the same marks . as you sew it back together the marks should line up. use a lot of scrap pieces to get use to the machine the more you do the better you will get
