This 1950 One Ton was left for dead in an Iowa corn crib. It had no rust holes but looked like it had been rode hard. The original bed was a grain box with the flip up sides. It looked like the perfect vehicle to restore and use to advertise my remodelling business. The links below are to pictures of the now parade ready truck my daughter affectionatly calls "Bucktooth". This truck currently resides in Kentwood, MI.

First off welcome to the Stovebolt. Secondly, that is one fine looking truck. I've grown to love those 1 ton dual wheels and have been watching around my area.

Now, whats the next project. These old truck are like Lay's potatoe chips, can't have just one smile

Thanks for sharing.

welcome to the bolt!

Beautiful job on the truck restoration. I like the patriotic paint job, what better way to symbolize an all American truck.

cheers!

Nice truck! I like that you use it for advertising, who can resist checking out an old piece of history such as that? I am also going to use mine to advertise, hopefully I'll get a lot of new business to pay the outrageous gas bill I'll have.

I'm excited to start my new project!

I am looking for an Arrow brand PTO for the lift bed on mine.

Very nice truck.

Good Morning,

I just saw your truck in the gallery. I have almost the same thing, a 1947 1-ton. I have to say your truck is beautifully restored. Did you keep the 6-volt system and what engine is in it?

Thanks, Joe
