Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the truck ignition switches between the 60 thru 66 years?
I noticed my 1960 only has ON and START when you turn to the right.
My 1966 has the same ON and START when you turn to the right, but seems to have accessory if you turn to the left. I only assum this because it never turns anything on in the left direction.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

You could take the key out after you turned the truck on and turn the switch from off through start without it. The key would be needed to lock the ignition again. I have a few old switches that seem to work with any key.. maybe they are not in the 'Lock' position.
So these ignition switches do not have an accessory switch...
With the settings of from the left: Lock, Off, On, Start...
With my 1966 truck. if I leave the switch on 'Lock', the GEN light glows dim and the battery will be drained if I leave it on this setting too long. This is why I thought it was an accessory.
