For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 42 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 42 | I've installed a 12V wiper motor in my 59' and now I need to install the windshield washer fluid jar.
I'm trying to find out if I should be using a foot operated washer pump, or somehow or convert my washer jar over to somehow use an electric pump.
The 59' came with the washer jar, but no foot pump, so I'm not sure how this was supposed to be set-up and the manuals are not showing me anything.
Does anyone else know what operated the washer pump? The holes already exist in the firewall for the foot switch. Thanks so much for your response.
