I have to opportuinty to change the 6 volt generator out since it don't work to 12 volt. My kid crashed her dodge daytona and I was thinking of taking the altanator out and putting it into the Chevy. Where can I get the information to do the wiring? Can I just run a hot wire to the fuse box?

I want to get the turn signals/brake/running lights working but the wiring is missing the insulation. Im not sure where to start on this mess.
I plan on getting a piece of all thread and making a bracket for it to pivit on. Besides I bought the altenator a year ago and I would hate to loose out on the good part.

thanks for any input!

Sorry you're not getting any help on this. I think we're all GM people and don't know how to wire a Chrysler alternator...

Skip Readio wrote a book on wriring hot rods. I think it showed how to wire a Chrysler alternator. There is another little book I've seen at swap meets for $10 that I think shows the same information.

It's true. I really don't do anything but browse the Internet looking for trouble...
