I'm checking to see how I like it this way....if I change my mind I'll put one big piece across the side. I still have the oak board to put down the side.....

Nice Alvin. What kind of material did you use? Is that the same grey stuff you showed me while I was there?

Ned, yes, its the big roll we looked at. The company I worked for just before retirement was basically all automotive fabric. The roll I showed you was the very FIRST roll manufactured for a lot of the OEM like GM, Chrysler, Ferd ect. I see cars with it all the time...and also the headliners we made at C&A.

Ned, after much looking and inquires I ended up going with 1/8" wallboard from Lowes. I cut the panels and then glued the fabric to the boards with the 3M Super77 Spray adhesive.

....now, I had a friend of mine come by Friday evening and look at doing my headliner for me. He does most all for a restoration shop near by, and he about has me convinced to make the sides smooth.....so again, I may change mine. Heck, with the insulation and the panels left in the panel should be quiet as a mouse!!! I'm thinking on what I'm going to do.

I have thought about using the foam core art board for mine. It's stiff enough it shouldnt sag and maybe the foam will add a bit more sound deadening.

Len, I don't know what to call them but I do know a guy who recently moved from his shop and called and ask me if I wanted an extra set....I said yes but he moved before I got them. He said he'd save them for me.
Shoot me a PM and we'll discuss or this will get sent to the Spoon.
