i searched this topic and haven't yet found my answer. I have a '50 chevy 1/2 ton w/ a 1960 235 6 cyl eng., 3 spd manual trans. I bought a new wiring harness and upgraded 12 volts. I'm using the '60 235's original 12 volt generator and bought the wiring harness w/ this in mind(classic truck parts number 52-023). I need to upgrade to a 12 volt voltage regulator. I picked one up at a swap meet that's from a '68 Camaro. However, it has 4 connectors (F, 2, 3, 4) and my original 6 volt regulator only has three. will the 12 v. regulator i picked up work? if so, where to the four terminals go to? thanks!
