A few looked flatten out. Lifters work good now after i cleaned them. and i am worried about the locks. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 9,671 | You are not going to find those serviced separatly and they may have been made specificly to fit the lifter to GM specs. But.....you may be able to find a retaining ring at McMaster Carr that will work: http://www.mcmaster.com/#retaining-rings/=lj5v6k DG

The piston will be kept well below the lock ring.

So do not worry about it . | | | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | If they are worn the lifter was not adjusted correctly. As I said before, if adjusted correctly the snap ring does nothing. It is mainly there to hold the piston in place while out of the engine and when backing off the lifter during adjustment.
