hi again please can anyone tell me the common color of the dash on a truck i have a 1953 and im stuck.....

Start doing a search for "interior color" and you should find
enough discussion on that to keep you busy reading the rest of
the week end. The dash would be the same as the rest of the
interior. This subject has been discussed AD nauseam over the
years.

i know ive been reading just cant seem to find anybody talking about the color i want kind of champaine looking but i'll keep reading thanks

Well ya must have missed this one, which is just one of hundreds
that we've done on this. The PPG automotive paint mentioned
will cost you quite a bit but it is about as close as I've seen
in any AD truck. Gus used a Rustoleum rattle can paint $3.99 a
can and it is pretty close. All depends on how pickey you are.
If close to original is good enough and getting it on the road
and starting to enjoy it then go the "close enough" route. 99%
of the people that would look into Gus's truck wouldn't be able
to tell the difference.
