I got the wiring done this last weekend and I'm ready to fire the engine up for the first time this weekend! I added three new pictures to the end of my photobucket.

The instrument cluster is in, I think the hubcaps turned out great also! Hopefully I can take video of starting it up this weekend. I'm waiting to put the floor mat, doors, glass, and seat in until I know the engine is running good and the wiring has been checked and working correctly.

Looking real good! It's always a treat for us to see the 1st start up after a resto.

Tom,
Nice work! That engine bay and interior look great. Is the interior painted the factory color? Looks like it to me. If so, is it called "Fawn"?
Yours makes me wanna paint mine red too! Looks great!

Thanks.

Jay, the color should be Fawn. We took the transmission hump into the paint store and had them match it.

Hopefully I can get to the engine start-up this weekend. My water heater is on it's last leg in the house so I have replace that, I forgot about a company Christmas party I have to go to, and the weather is suppose to turn to crap Saturday.

I don't want to start it up in the garage because the new paint on the engine and manifold will probably bake plus I put high temp paint on the whole exhaust all the way back to the rear bumper. I'm expecting some noxious fumes.

Yeah, I hear ya! If I could skip work, control the weather and not have a Honey-do list, I'd have my truck done by now. LOL!

Keep up the nice work. It inspires me (us)!
