Does anyone know if anyone is making a repop or where I can find replacements, either new or used. Is it just the bushing in the hanger that is shot? New shackles come with new bushing to press into the hanger. Even if the shackle bolt wore through the bushing and wore the hanger a bit, you can salvage it with JB Weld or similiar. I was hoping to be able to grind off the rivets and replace the hanger but I guess it's not going to be that easy. The bushings are steel, so should hold their shape even if the shackle bore is out of round. Then, force JB Weld into the gap from both ends and call it a day. If the bushing goes in by hand, then you have more of a problem. | | |
