im rewiring my 51 3100 carbureted 350 doing a complete rewire to 12 volt system. with the internally regulated altenater will i still need the fire wall mounted voltage regulater.

And while we're at it....

if you are installing an aftermarket ignition system like and MSD or other,
save yourself some headaches and install the (supplied?) diode at the alternator.
It eliminates the phenomenon of "still running" after switching off the key.

Thanks guys. ive never rewired a vehicle before so if if i ask some dumb questions please be patient with me i reall y dont have the money or anybody to do this for me except all the great help ive gotten from the bolt and i really apreceate it.Alvin and so many others have been a great help to me. and i know if i keep pecking along i will get it done.
