We just wanted to share our experience with a local brake shop.
Our rear shoes on Hank, 49' Chevy 3600, were delaminated and in need of replacement. We searched on the web and finally found some for $130 + shipping + $150 core charge!! At first we thought the core charge was a typo but the folks here on the forum informed us that the rear shoes on our 3/4 ton Chevy are on the rare end of parts. They also recommended searching for a shop to reline them. We found a local shop in Seattle and called over. [censored] answered the phone and confirmed with little prompting that we had huck style shoes. He said they could help us and offered some options. We shipped them off and had them back a week later. [censored] seemed like a pro and was easy to deal with.
The shoes came back completely refinished and the shoe material feels to have better friction than the front shoes we installed from Napa.
