can anyone out there tell me how to find out what year a rear end is .i bought this 53 truck that came with a 250 and a 350 turbo trans conected to a open drive im trying to find out so i can connect my emergecy brake cable thanks...... Hi guys. I posted some pics and found these numbers if anyone could help. A F 11. 05 also found 3707340 and was just told rearend out of a 55 -62 chevy ruck thanks alot to all you guys .

Post any codes (all codes) that you find on the rear end. Someone might be able to ID it from those codes.

The casting code for the housing is usally on the passenger side front of the housing
