Ok, got axel back under, seals, bearings, tie rod and all linkages hooked up with hub on. Grabbed hub at 3&9 and wiggle, I've got about 1/8 inch movement at pitman arm is this normal?

I guess that you are saying you have angular movement of the Pitman arm which is a steering box issue. What does it translate to in the steering wheel with the wheels point directly forward?

With wheels forward, there is no movement in the steering wheel.

Checked tie rods, third arm/drag link and am missing nylon grease caps but all accepted grease and are not loose. If I grab pitman arm I can move it 1/8 inch either way but no further. Maybe worn sector shaft in gear box?

Have you checked the sector shaft adjustment?

Yes, the procedure is describens on the manual. It's a relatively easy procedure, and sounds from the description you give of what's going on, the part that needs adjusted.

Thanks longbox55, read manual and will give that a shot before anything else. taken a brake cant get the wife or kids to help bleed brakes, been waiting on them four weeks now but have been restoring steering wheel, and grinding old paint in the meantime.

I bled my brakes by myself using a bottle and tube as described in the manual.

For one person brake bleeding, use 'speed bleeders'. I bought mine at NAPA.

I've got other issues now, got some help but can't seem to get any peddle. So I've been trying to find leak, I suspect the MC but will figure it out another day.

Got it all fixed and bleed. Took her for a ride, 50 mph top speed ,wanders a little but will work on that. On the road again, not perfect but darn close. Thank for all the help.
