Looking to pickup a big truck(flat bed dual back wheels) for parts for my 1/2 ton. Not sure if its 1 ton or bigger. I would like to know what parts fit what doesnt. I know the front fenders are oversize. Im looking basically for the windshield and doors maybe the hood for my half ton. Thanks

The cabs are the same. The entire front clip including the hood is different 1 1/2 ton. 1 ton will work on a half ton.

crenwelge,

The following front clip parts are the same for ALL 3, 4, 6, 8 & 10 Series 1957 Chevrolet trucks...hood, core support and inner fenders.

I stand corrected. I looked in the 32nd edition Hollander and it looks like the 55.2 to 57 only changed the fenders on the larger ones.
