I would like to add a fuel filter to our 1952 1/2 ton pickup with a 235 engine. Would putting an inline fuel filter in the rubber line under the cab near the gas tank cause a problem or must it be placed in the metal fuel line near the carburetor?

No problem. Just keep an eye on the rubber lines.

I put my in line filter right before the fuel pump. It's easy to see and service..
