I have been hanging out on this forum for months gathering info while i restore a 1941 truck before becoming a member, What a great site and forum.
I am looking for someone with a 41-46 truck who lives in Oregon. I would love to come take pictures of a stock truck to help me restore mine and talk with.

Thanks

I have a much newer truck.. 1950, but live sort of close to both of you. We should do something 'semi' locally some time.

There's several folks around here...

If you are ever along the coast, you are welcome to stop by.

OlSkool13, Welcome to the Stovebolt. I know there are other bolters in Oregon so be patient. They pop up around here before you know it.
You may consider looking at trucks in the gallery that are like yours and see if any are around your area.

...regardless, there is LOTS of knowledge and helpful folks here at the bolt. Just be patient for a few days and ask questions in the most appropiate forums for the best results. We also offer therapy sessions for those obsessed bolters who feel they simply must have more than one...or two...or three smile We're all here to help.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Hi fellow north westerners, I'm another Oregonian living in the rain forest known as the Willamette Valley. I've been building cars for nearly 50 years and one of my latest is a 38 3/4T.

Welcome to the bolt Ageingrodder. I assure you are not in that category by yourself. I'm sure you have much to contribute here and we'll be seeing ya around the garage.

Say, how about a pic of the 38 ....and write a short story about it in the DIY Gallery and it'll be put in the picture gallery.

I have a 46 3/4 ton in the midst of a restoration. I live in SE PDX. I have some 1/2 parts and get some stuff from Chevy of 40s in Vancouver.

Email me at b.fig@comcast.com and we can grab a beer and talk trucks.
