I'm going to do a t-5 swap and wondered if it's possible to change the clutch on my engine while still in the truck? I've a 1962 c-10.

Hy clodstomper, yes you can remove the clutch while the engine is still in the truck, the clutch should come out of the bottom of the bellhousing after you unbolt it from the flywheel, be careful and keep your face out of the way when lowering the parts out of the bellhousing, hope that helps.

Absolutely. After you remove the lower cover & the trans. remove the exposed bolts from the clutch & turn the fly wheel to get to the rest of them. Then slide the clutch out through the bottom. You usually have to push the disc up in the houseing & pull the pressure plate out by its self first then the disc. Sometimes it helps to back out the ball that the fork rides on to give a little more clearance.

On my 55 the clutch fork just snaps to a ball mounted inside the bellhousing.

You need to use a TO brg. to match the pressure plate. You need a special disc to use with the T-5 so you may not buy a complete clutch kit.
