I would like to convert it to power steering but can't seem to find a conversion kit so far. Any info or help will be greatly appreciated. For an alternator setup call Buffalo Enterprises or JJ Inlines.

Poor phrasing on my part.
I meant that the generator could be replaced with a gen/pump combo.
I didn't mean to imply that you can add a pump to the stock generator.

I have a 51 3100 that I need to upgrade the steering on in anticipation of a sbc swap.
I'm keeping the staight axle for now & I want to upgrade the steering box to a later model power unit and move it to the outside of the frame. I wouldn't mind using drop spindles also, But I can't seem to be able to locate any. Are they available, or maybe interchange with a car?
Any suggestions?
I greatly appreciate any info anyone can provide.

A great improvement and pretty easy to install... minimal welding.
Highly recommend using their upgraded tie rod/tie rod ends/and stabilizer bar
at the same time. Since I have a panel truck I also installed a "Rough Country"
sterring stabilizer on the straight axle.
I did not change spindles, tho.
