Was there any different sizes for the speedometer and gauge cluster for bigger(over one ton) trucks?? Were they larger units for the big trucks or were all the same?? I know they are the correct type for these years but I have to make sure they fit 1/2 ton-3/4 ton and the trucks I have are 4 hours away so I can't check. Thanks

So all speedometers and gauge clusters are the same size for all size trucks. Thank you for the quick reply

All gauges that are electrically hooked up. I'm will shorten the studs if I need a new gauge dbecause there are no other differences. Picked up the complete clister years ago at Macungie.

I also have a truck specific clock. On the exterior it's the same as the car but the clock shell is different.

The 54/55 truck uses the same manual-wind clock as used in a 53-54 car. Will the electric clock from a car fit the truck's housing?

This shows the 1954 Flat-Face Cowl gasoline gauge as being different.

This shows the 1954 Flat-Face Cowl ammeter as being different.

The 137" wheel base school bus shared the same equipment as the 137" Flat-Face Cowl. It does not look like other school buses shared the FFC gauges.

Thanks for your post about the differences in 54/55 gauges. I now remember that there was recently a 54/55 NOS FFC fuel gauge listed on eBay.

Flat face cowl trucks used 1954-55 style gauges at least though 1960 ...

'54 style gauges were used in this 1966 milk truck. Link to photos may be broken
