Does anyone know of a shorter style heater fan that doesn't peak through the firewall of the 48-54 Chevy pickups?

reason i'm asking is that I smoothed my firewall and want to use the original heater.

Saw this one, but now dimensions.

figure how much shorter you need it and take the motor to a parts store or auto electric shop and have them find one same diameter with same rotation and same shaft dia/length - if that doesn't find one, there likely isn't anything

The Jim Carter one I bought just barely protrudes. I imagine with some alterations to the heater mounts it could work.
