Recently while working on the dash (cutting a hole for cd player) the needle in my gauge fell out and is now sitting at the bottom of the gauge behind the glass.
My question for you guys is this, would you simply take out the gauge and put the needle back in place and proceed with a jumpy needle. Or would you replace the gauge completely to fix the jumpy needle OR is it a problem with the cable to the gauge that might be causing the problem?
any suggestion on how to fix this.... | | |

There are several places that will do it. Sometimes a little lube is all it needs to work right. You can buy new needles, they are a slip fit. A lot of times the jumpy speedometer is actually caused by the drive cable.
