The short answer is no. Under the horn button is a contact plate, and under that is the mast bearing. That has a wire that runs down the inside of the column and exits about 10 inches from the firewall. That hooks into the wiring harness to supply power to the horn. There is a spring loaded plunger that rides on the mast bearing, and fits in a hole in the steering wheel. That functions as a switch for the horn. May I also suggest you pick a copy of the assembly manual, and the shop manual. Those are the two books that most of us here rely on. Oh by the way advance design trucks all had beer bottle openers put in by the factory located at the door lock in the cab, dad showed me how and it did work . | | |
