Do the tube mounts need to be welded where it slides into the mounting brackets to keep it from turning? Or do you drill and pin it with a through bolt?

You need position them where you want them with the engine and trans in and ensure you have the right amount of tilt to the rear ......
Once in position you weld them up.

What about drilling a through hole for a 5/16 " bolt and nut. I'm thinking of this because once it is welded it won't be able to be removed unless the tube is cut.

I drilled mine and put 3/8 hardened bolts in so it would be easier to take out if I ever needed to. Worked out great so far.

Thanks. That is what I will do. The next thing is to figure ouut what Exh Manifolds will fit.I will post a new thread and see what everyone says.
