I've also seen the flexible conduits, but am aprehensive to try them, as the "shearing" angle of the door opening movement on my 50 GMC Panel (hense, my name!!) seems to indicate that they may get kinked. Whats anybody using successfully out there? Thanks!!

Is this for the front or rear doors? Here is an off the wall suggestion. You might want to look at the chevy venture with a lift gate. The electric is run through the top of the gate but they use as "s" configuration. The 2 hole do not, nor are they meant to, line up. The wires are housed in a flexible courogated rubber sleeve. The entire system twist more then it flexes, if that make any sence?

I have looked at those before, but they may not work, as the A.D. doors swing open much wider the the GM van hatches do. Also, when the A.D. doors are closed, there is less than a 3/8" gap between the door shell and pillar, which would crush the wires and this "s" shaped boot. I'm gonna look at the hinges again, you may have given me an idea... which is routing a harness fastened to the hinge arm. Thanks!
