My measurement says it will be close. With the water pump pulley and no fan blade there is about a 1/2" between the radiator and pulley. I am using the stock trans and rearend-FYI Picasa albumn link - a few picks of the new 250 engine mounts

There are at least three lengths of water pumps I found that will bolt up to that engine. I used the shortest one I could find along with a flat faced flex fan.
