Not sure where to post this. I drive my 65 to Walmart about four miles away. Park and moments later some of the radiator fluid comes out of the overflow tube. Maybe a cup or so. But the heat gauge didn't go over 180. Came out of wallyworld and the radiator seemed full. Drove it home same distance and the same thing did not happen. Is this normal? I'm thinking about putting in an overflow tank.

you overfilled the rad to start, common for folks not familiar with the old systems - when cold it should be down a couple/few inches so there's room for the expansion that happens when it gets up to temperature, let it find it's level and show you what's right, no need for an overflow tank, although some folks like to add one

That's two I owe you Bill. By the way, I bought the truck yesterday and drove it two hours over mountains home and it didn't overflow once. And we stopped a few times for gas and such. In fact this is the first time it's happened in me driving it around town about five times. That's what caused me a little concern. Thanks again.
