Anybody ever use a ProComp Electronics universal GM wiring harness? I was contemplating buying one of their 22 circuit kits. They're about half the price of a comparable Painless Performance kit. I don't know of anything specific to the harness,but in general ProComp parts are not well thought of.

Yeah, I know they have a poor reputation. I bought a set of block hugger T304 headers from them off Ebay. They had some customer service issues and are bribing me to change feedback. The headers are pretty sharp and the flanges are thick. I did the magnet test on them and it appears the nickel content is really good. I'm a glutton for punishment, so I'm picking up the harness from them for a reduced price ($50). I was just looking for reassurance that nobody has burned their truck down with one of their harnesses. I'll post back here in a couple months to let you know how the install went.

I used a harness and guage kit from EZWire,It is alot less money than painless and some other "high end" vendors.I thought it was well worth the money and easy to install.It is a universal kit so some creative wireing is required but i am not doing a 100 point restoration i just want everything to work and be reliable.
