Hi. I have a '59 1/2ton and have the opportunity to buy a reupholstered bench seat out of a '57. Are '55 2nd to '59 bench seat years interchangeable, are they the same dimentions mounting bracket wise? I say this because I bought a supposed bench seat out of a '57, ( I trusted what they guy told me ) went to mount it in my '59 and the mounting brackets did not line up, they were spaced way too wide.

the cabs for all those years are the same, so the floor mounting holes figure to be in the same location. I would say they are interchangeable, in fact I put a 57 seat into my 56.

Got the seat. It is Sweeeeet and i got it for a GREAT price. Had the seller confirm the measurements before meeting up. Matches right up when I got it home. I'll post a pic tomorrow. Thanks for the reply

Thanks. It's hard to tell from the pic, but that's dark blue not black.
