I have the opportunity to buy another toy. The P.O. said it has a ford 9" and a mustang front end. This got me to thinking, what parts should I get a history on if I need to get replacement parts from the parts store?
Example: What kind of rearend, what ratio
* what kind of spindles? Year?
* brakes, what year?
* shocks?
* engine of course
* tranny?
What else ???
Thanks
Rick.......

Mechanically, looks like you have it covered, but since it's modified I would do an end to end walk around with the owner and ask as you go.

Oh,yeah. take notes!
