Hello, I have a 62'burb with a granny 4 speed. My clutch pedal goes all the way to the floor and stays there unless I pick it up from the floor, then it will snap back to it's correct position. :confused:

Does it have hydrolic or a mechanical clutch?

It's a hydraulic clutch.

Why do you think the clutch is stuck to the Flywheel?

Prolly cuz its not disengaging. The system is either out of fluid, has air in the line, the clutch cylinder or slave cylinder is shot, or the pedal linkage is messed up. Even if the clutch was stuck to the flywheel, the pedal should return to normal height when released. If you don't hear a bunch of racket, the problem is most likely not the disk/pressure plate/TO bearing assembly.

If it helps, I drove the truck 6 months ago. I was able to start the truck last night. The 3 year old gas had gone bad on me. The truck has a bad rear end, and I never burned all the gas that the P.O., had left in it. :rolleyes: I didn't hear any noises that would lead me to believe that anything was wrong with the rest of the truck. I haven't looked inside the reservoir for the brakes and clutch yet.

Today I wanted to drive my 62'today, so coming back from the post office going to the hospital to visit my grandma. I went to take off from a 3 way the truck almost stalled, I had only about a 1/2 - 3/4 inch for shifting from the floor board. I did an experiment, if I had taken the lid off the master cylinder the clutch pedal was firm like it is supposed to. But after I had put the lid back on, got back in the truck pushed on the clutch pedel, it went back to the floor. Not to mention if you looked at the clutch side of the master cylinder, little bubbles came out.(while the lid was off) The only thing I didn't do when I had gone through all the brakes and stuff I didn't replace, or rebuild the slave cylinder. :o

Check the fluid level in the master cylinder, if you let it go down too far you'll get air in the lines, and then the lines will have to be bled.
I didn't check mine for about a month after I brought it home, it only had maybe a 1/8 of an inch of brake fluid at the bottom.

The clutch is actually bolted to the flywheel,,,,the clutch disc however is not.
Can you push the pedal to the floor and roll the truck?
How was the fluid level??

Well, I did what I should've done in the beginning
, I opened up the reservoir. Guess what ,no fluid at all! So, even though my brake felt solid I apparently had no fluid to speak of backing up that thought. Once I added fluid and did an impromtu bleeding I was back in business.

Once again I thank all who gave their two cents worth of advice! It got me looking in the right direction!!!!!!!
