For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 90 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 90 | I know I know, it's been discussed, then discussed some more. But, I'm thinking about swapping in a OD 5 speed in my 51 4400. What I would like is something that retains the compound low 1st but has a OD in 5th. The easier to do the better, but looking at all options. Thinking about a NV4500 because thats all I know of that fits my requirements. Any other suggestions? The NV4500 swap would require an adapter plate. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 90 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Dec 2011 Posts: 90 | I like that idea. What did the Clark come in? | | |
