I just had my 1957 Chevy suburban gas tank shortened to fit under my new napco drive train. Was wondering what the the original color was.

Thanks in advance

Eastwood makes a spray can paint called Tank tone. Ive used it , it's not bad. Its the color of what a new tank would look like.
