For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 83 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 83 | My 1940 pickup is missing the lock cylinder in the passenger side exterior door handle. So, I bought a 1940 Chevy car trunk handle for a cheap price on ebay, hoping the cylinder would fit my truck. It does indeed look like the cylinder would fit, but I'm not sure how to take it out. Anyone know how to take one of these apart? Then you can tap the lock out driving it towards the key lock (outside). I just put a picture on my photobucket site of the insides. My handle is out being chromed. I hope that helps. How do put a picture here? | | |
