My newly purchased 1949 3100 pickup has a rearend out of a 1961 pickup. The back brakes are taken apart. I rebuilt the wheel cylinders, but now I need a picture of how to put them back together. More springs than I'm used to. Does anyone have a picture or exploded view?

Thanks. However, I must not have a '61 rearend. I have an extra small bracket that attaches under the pin/spring. It is part of the brake adjuster. There is also a wire clip that goes from this small bracket to the pin that the springs attach to at the top. Does any of this make sense?

You must have 63 up brakes or rear end. From your description it sounds like you have self adjusting brakes.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

http://www.pbase.com/nufsed/drumbrake if you have adjusters this should help, pretty well done IMO. Not mine found it while surfing the net.
