You can leave it on & connect the lines together but I would replace it with a coventional pump just to keep things simple.

I did as WR suggests. But, before I did, I had fun at shows, asking people if they could help me figure out the odd noise that I was hearing when idling.

Bought the truck with theno wiper motor at all. Could only get an electric one. Installed it. The hoses were bocked off. But I need to replace the vacuum pump with the new conventional kind now cause the old one leaks like a siv. Just got it in the mail last week. Now I got put it on.
