I recently purchased an oem third row seat and have a question. original third row seat
I have been working on my reproduction seats that elhippie64 builds. When I welded in the lower radius on each lower corner,I went off of an oem middle seat. This has what I'm going to call a full radius to the tubing stock.

This picture of an oem middle seat has a different pattern on the lower radius.
another oem middle seat
Here is a picture of my reproduction third row seat showing the lower radius on each side.

another picture of mine
This is a picture from a suburban that was on ebay. The radius on each side is like my reproduction third row seat.

This is a picture of the oem third row seat radius on the seat I just purchased.

Does any one know what year the radius changed on the rear seats? I'm curious what the year was they changed.

Thanks,Tim

Looks like the 1959 Chevrolet suburban third row seat has the radius to the tubular stock.

I posted a link in the eBay and Craigslist to a 1959 Chevy suburban that has all of the seats. The rear radius is very visible in the picture.I will delete this part of my post in a few days.

Thanks,Tim
