On a say '50 Chevy 1/2 ton, there is a metal arm type arrangement that supports the forward end of the emergency brake cable coming from the rear wheel. I would like a description of it or a photo would be better. I assume this part is bolted to the frame. Thanks

It has a round shape on the end of that bracket that the cable goes through. Then a pinch bolt to lock it in place. So I guess there are different types out there. Probably changed with the year model. I actually need the other end that is bolted to the backing plate. It also has that round shape for the cable to go through. Yours may be different since the other end is different.
