I am trying to shore up orig. color combo,I beleive transport blue was body color. I cannot seem to verify trim color it seems to be a light creme color. Any help and reference to paint chip location to view would be great. I have checked out a few sources here but they dont seem right. Thanks

The GM Heritage Center has specifications manuals for most years of trucks. It has the 1955-2nd series truck manual. Some color information is in that manual.

Paintscratch.com had a great site for early 50's and later color chips.

Found colors, now need to convert codes to present ones. My paint store could not go off these numbers and could not locate any usable chip. Should i
go elsewhere? He usually is pretty good.

Near the bottom of the Tech Tip is some information on how to contact PPG. They might be able to give you a modern "offset code". Your paint store might be able to match that code.

Here's a couple sites that can get you the codes. Auto Color Library, which will have the PPG codes, and Paint Reference which will have the oem code, PPG, and Dupont codes.
