hi ed thanks for the tip, google messes my brain up, and the guys on here generally have all the answers, when it comes to trucks there is no better place to seek advice than here...

No need to apologize about time delays. I lived in Scotland for a few years, so I automatically notice time zones between here and there.
If you have downpipes that angle towards the rear, you manifolds that fit 54-62 235s and 261s. The intake ports on these heads/intake-manifold are a little larger diameter than the ports on pre-54 216s and 235s.
