Must be one of the truck engines, the "S" doesn't decode to one of the several passenger car codes I found. Maybe someone else can add some more info. | | |

S = Thriftmaster 235 in 4000 series truck

I have a 53 GMC. The number stamped by the distributer is: XC459392.
There is another on at the front bottom of the block: 3695408.
Any ideas what type of engine this is ? | | |
