We sold the place where it was stored and wanted to move it to the house; it hadn't run since 2005. Fortunately the gas had been stolen out long ago so there was no old gas to worry about. I bought a new battery and put 4 gallons of gas in it. Since we don't have any tools at the other place anymore, we decided to tow it to the house with the front end loader. It has air brakes so I put it in 4th gear while my wife towed so it could build air. I also left the key on to see if it would fire. It started after about 200 yards. I was trying to stop her and we got some slack in the chain, when she took off again it broke the chain which flew back and busted the windshield. I decided we'd damaged enough so I just drove it on to the house. Now we've decided we want to fix it up because we both like it. It has a Target master 366, with working 4th 5speed and straight air brakes. It'll make a good one to set next to my C-80 65 409 truck.
'65 C-10, 65 L-60, 65 C-80, 72 C-60 & and a bunch of old Chevy cars.
