On this site there are a number of resources for literature. However, you are correct that these often omit our bigger rigs. I am on the hunt for manuals for
a '46 6400 info. I can tell you from my searching that if you look on eBay there
are sometimes the Motor's Truck and Tractor books which do cover more of our
systems. I live near an amazing bookstore in Portland, OR., which I have been haunting for my own purposes and will look for your specific request and send a
PM if I score anything. But, do look here, and in Big Bolts and other forums. I found references to elusive manuals in other guys posts. But be aware that some of the CDs and reference books for sale here and elsewhere have generic repair manuals with little crossover to our big trucks. Yours, being twenty years newer, and living in Texas, you might check with truck repair shops, even dealerships, and if you talked to the right guy you might be able to copy some pages or borrow a manual. Send them a PM and ask if they have the manuals you need. Most of them don't put the big truck stuff out on eBay because the market for them is so much smaller. I got lucky and scored a pair of Truck Data manuals (1970 & 1971) that are in their original 2" thick 3-ring binders while at a flea market last winter. They cover everything from the Vega Panel to the Astro COE's. You just need to keep your eyes open... Mike B  | | |
